So, Its been a few days and I apologize. I'm not going to go on too much. I just wanted to let everyone know that the trolls are almost done. Also I have been working on another Malifaux Crew and on Kovnik Joe. My partner is working on a crew of his own as well and once I have pictures of his stuff I will put it up. Until then I hope you enjoy some preview shots of the trolls, Perdita, and Joe. Just click on Read More Till next time CJ Hey everyone. I am just giving you an update on the outcasts crew that we have in the studio. The Leveticus model is based and ready to go. The junkyard bases are done for the abominations, and everyone else is at some stage of painting so it runs the gamut of done to part of the way there. All of the models should be finished by Friday night ready for delivery Saturday morning. I have included some pics of Leveticus and one of the hallow waif wip. If you want to see them just click on read more. Till next time CJ In the past couple days things have been progressing well. We have gotten one of the Trollbloods completely finished, Janissa is on her custom base and just needs some finishing touches, Mulg is done, the Earthborn Dire Troll is almost there, the Dire Troll Bomber is coming along, and a unit of Fenblades painted by the army's previous owner is waiting for touch-up We also have a set of Slate Wasteland bases under a layer of RTV and should give us some great bases for our customers. Click on the Read more link to see some WiP pics and a Pic of Mulg. Till next time -CJ So, I started painting way back with BattleTech and then worked my way up to stuff like Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Reaper, and so forth. Somethign though that I have noticed over time is that people all have differetn ways of painting thier armies full of little plastic and metal men. Coming from a BattleTech background I was used to playing what is essentially a skirmish game and only needed 3 or 4 'Mechs per faction. So I ended up with about 4-5 Mechs in each house and those eventually became companies over the course of many years. heck, even without the cross compatability I have 3 different Khador "Unit Schemes". So, I did a tutorial for Spikey Bits for basing. For it I used a new Koldun Lord model that I bought at FTW Games in Richmond Virginia. I also painted u a Gorman Di Wulfe model. Both are from privateer Press' Warmachine line. I hoe you enjoy the pics below, and once the tutorial goes up online I hope you read and enjoy it. Until then, Enjoy the pics below. CJ Out So, just an update on whats going on in the studio. We have almost finished up our Middenhiem commission and it is looking beautiful. We also have a beautiful Khand army here in studio in for some basic basing. Im' sure though you don't come here to read my ramblings, or maybe you do, either way, click on the read more link to see some sneak peeks at these 2 armies. Proper finished pictures will be up at the end of the week. Well, its almost the new year an I just kinda wanted to ogo over what we have accomplished here at Gamers Pair - O - Dice in our short little lifespan this year. some of it goes back to last year. well, the Tyranids do, they began as a side project and GPOD sort of just inherited them as time went on. Earlier this year though the first major step was made before GPOD existed. |
